Meeting Rooms

A place for the art community to meet, exchange ideas and information, and to find others with the same interests and objectives. Meeting rooms provide  a enhanced  format for communication,  research, and standards development. Here you will find an ever-growing list of reasons to become involved with art and FACTS.

About open meeting rooms ( no membership requirements)

An open committee is composed of individuals who have an interest in the subject. Anyone may visit an open committee by simply signing in. It is not necessary to participate actively, but it is encouraged that you do. Most open committees develop an interest in a topic, and through their exchange of information which most often leads to the development of a Standards Development Committee (see closed committees).  Open committee members who wish to continue as a Standards Committee member may do so by meeting the requirements of the new committee.

International meeting rooms (are open committee rooms)

These meeting room are provided to encourage all interested individuals to participate in their craft by enhanced communication, sharing ideas, research, information, and helping to improve the care of art worldwide

About closed meeting rooms (requiring Membership)

A closed committee is for the development of a specific document. The committee is composed of individuals who have a demonstrated interest in the project scope and have requested and meet any requirements of membership. Most often committee members pay a  fee to help offset the cost of committee functions. All information is reviewed and developed by the committee members, while the detail and organizational work is done by FACTS staff.

If you would like additional information on joining or supporting any FACTS committee please contact . The committee of your choice or info@artfacts.org
